Individual Therapy

  • Individual therapy can be beneficial for gaining a deeper understanding for one’s own behaviors, thoughts, and feelings.

  • Individual therapy can be great for exploring the past and how it relates to the present.

  • With individual therapy, we can explore issues pertaining to stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, body image, relationships, and sexuality.

  • In individual therapy, I work to integrate psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions into the one’s everyday life. Together, we will work on identifying what leads to negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how to manage it.

  • Individual therapy is appropriate for both adolescents and adults.

  • I use techniques from:

    • Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • Mindfulness based practices

    • Solution Focused Therapy

    • Psychodynamic/Attachment

Couples Therapy

  • Couples therapy can be beneficial for strengthening communication, building trust with one another, and effectively moving through the present time with each another.

  • In couples’ therapy, I aim to create a safe space for both partners to feel heard and valued as we explore what is hindering the couple’s dynamic.

  • My goal as a therapist is to help identify and mend patterns that have begun to impair the relationship while teaching each partner new ways of interacting with one another in the present.

  • I’m sex positive and work with monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous relationships.

  • I use techniques from:

    • Attachment Theory

    • Emotion Focused Therapy

    • Mindfulness based practices

    • Gottman

Family Therapy

  • Family therapy can be beneficial to improving relationships and finding healthier ways to relate to one another.

  • In family therapy I help educate the family on family dynamics and family systems in order for everyone to understand ways to break harmful patterns and cycles in the family.

  • Issues within a family may stem from factors such as traumas, transitions, stressors, and generational patterns.

  • I work with families to build communication skills, understand triggers, and learn alternative ways of relating to one another.

  • I use techniques from:

    • Family Systems Therapy

    • Structural Family Therapy

    • Strategic Family Therapy

    • Mindfulness based practices.
